Texas question about Ryan Connor and Alex Wheeler

I don't know much about Texas, but I would like to get some information about Ryan and Alex. Ryan was Alex's nephew right? But the other sites I have been on don't list him as a relative and only list Mark Wheeler as his nephew. Is that true?
